The package price includes everything you will need to pay to get your business or service online, and you don't need to pay us another penny for a full year. After that, there is an annual charge to 'buy' your domain name again and pay for another year of hosting (this is a total cost of $145 per annum). But remember that the first year is already included in the package price.

The website is yours, so if you want to make changes to the site later on, you can do that. However, you will need to know a little about websites to make changes. If you'd rather leave it to us, we have an hourly rate of $45. We charge by the hour, but if the changes your require only take us 10 minutes, you will have a 50 minute credit to use at any point over the first year. Some clients only want a few sentences changed, or to have images updated once a month - this generally only requires one hour in total, spread out over the year.

No problem - if we can't design something that suits, then we can recommend other designers. We only charge for our services when you are happy with the site we design.

DOMAIN: this is the name of your website. Domains end in .com, .co.nz, etc.

HOST: these are the people that will take your website and make sure it is available globally to anyone looking for you. You don't need to have your computer on all the time or worry about how people can get to your site - this is the job of the hosting company.

URL: this is simply the address that need to be types in to get to a website. For example, Google's URL is 'http://www.google.com'.

This is the main question we get asked. Once we have designed and uploaded your site, we will submit it to all major search engines (Google, Yahoo etc). Also, your site will be designed so that people typing keywords related to your site will be able to find you. However, we cannot promise that your site will be top of the listings - this takes time and patience, and also means you will have to spend some time telling people about your site, getting them to visit the site and advertising the site anyway you can.

No problem - we can upgrade your site or make any changes you would like. For this, we charge our hourly rate of $45 per hour, but can quote for the work before we begin.

Not for the first year, but after that there is an annual fee of $145 to pay for hosting your site and to renew your domain name. We will contact you two weeks before the end of the year to see if you would like to continue hosting your site with us. If you would rather move to another hosting provider, that's no problem (although our rates are the cheapest available in New Zealand!).

Website design shouldn't cost in the $1000s - we don't spend money on advertising or city centre offices, we are a smaller independent business with limited overhead costs. Lower cost doesn't mean lower quality though!

Once we have had a quick chat about your online goals, your company etc, we aim to have your site up and running within 7 days (of course, that depends on you being able to supply us with the information you want on your site!).

We certainly can - we have a number of clients who just want minor modifications to their site. We charge a rate of $45 + GST per hour (minimum one hour), but if your job only takes 20 minutes, you have 40 minutes 'credit' to use at any time in the future.
